This auction is for an original 17"x24" poster, produced by Paramount Pictures Corporation, for Top Gun from 1986 s
tarring Tom Cruise, Kelly McGillis, Val Kilmer, Anthony Edwards, Tom Skerritt, Michael Ironside, Meg Ryan, Tim Robbins, John Stockwell, and Rick Rossovich, directed by Tony Scott.  The poster, which is rolled and never used,  was an item that was given away at certain theaters around the country when you saw the movie.  This poster has been signed by Tom Cruise during the Top Gun period.  I worked in the film business from the 1970's through the 1980's and had a colleague that worked on the movie during shooting in San Diego and he got a couple of posters signed for me. I hung onto this poster  hoping at some point to get Kelly McGillis on it as well, but it just never happened.
So, this is an early Tom Cruise signature and his signature has evolved over the past 35 years to almost a scribble depending on how much time he takes for signing. I guarantee it's authenticity. Money back guarantee if not perfectly happy.
